A Team Administrator can be appointed following one of these scenarios described below. Follow the instructions for appointing Team Admin(s) based on your scenario.
Scenarios & Instructions
Scenario 1: Team Administrator remains as the individual whose information was used at the time of purchasing a subscription
Instructions: Individual clicks the Join your Team button in the email invite to accept Team Admin role.
Scenario 2: Re-assign Team Admin role from the reseller/customer whose information was used at the time of purchasing a subscription
Instructions: This is a one-time scenario which can ONLY be used if the current Team Administrator has NEVER accepted the invitation to be a Team Administrator. If the Team Administrator has accepted the invitation you will need to follow the process in Scenario 3 to re-assign the Team Admin’s role. For Scenario 2, refer to ‘How to: Re-Assign the Team Administrator Role (CCP)’ for detailed steps.
Scenario 3: Team member to replace current Team Admin
Instructions: The current Team Admin must appoint a new Team Admin and the new Team Admin can either delete the “current” Team Admin’s profile completely or just remove Team Admin privileges. If the “current” Team Admin is deleted as a user, the license becomes available for re-assignment (refer to ‘How to: Add a New Team Member’ to create a new team member and ‘How to: Assign Administrative Permissions to Team Members & Synchronize Info with CCP’ to assign the team member ‘Team Admin’ privileges).
Scenario 4: Appoint multiple Team Administrators
Instructions: All Team Administrators have the same privileges and you can appoint as many Team Admins as required. For more information on other administrative roles refer to this article. Refer to ‘How to: Add a New Team Member’ to create a new team member and ‘How to: Assign Administrative Permissions to Team Members & Synchronize Info with CCP’ to assign the team member ‘Team Admin’ privileges. Repeat for each new Team Administrator.
