Note: To be able to create a brand, you must have an active domain with no brands assigned to it in the system.
The following are step-by-step instructions for creating your own brand:
1) Log in to your Reseller Control Panel and switch to Classic Panel
2) Ensure you do not select Billing
3) In the menu on the left, select System > Settings
4) On the ‘Settings’ page, select Brands
5) On the ‘Brands’ page, click Add New Brand
6) On the ‘Add New Brand’ page, click Next
Note: If a suitable domain is available for branding it will be listed on this page. If there are no domains listed here, you will receive the following error message: ‘You have no domains available for brand creation.’ You will need to add an externally hosted domain to the system.
7) The ‘Add New Brand’ page opens to an editable form:
The brand name is only used to distinguish your brand. You can edit it now if you want to; it can also be edited later.
“Shared IP” is selected by default, you can leave it as is.
“Exclusive IP” can be selected for better security. Note: This option may not be included in your reseller plan.
IP Type can be edited later.
If you would like your URL to not have a suffix (e.g., yourdomain.com), then clear this field. Otherwise, type in any suffix you prefer.
Select a skin from the list of default skins. You can change this later.
If you have a skin file (in .zip format), you can import it to apply to your brand. For further instructions, please refer to How to import a custom skin (theme).
To get a custom skin, please contact your Ingram Micro representative.
Use any standard image format such as: .jpeg, .png, etc. The recommended height is 100 px.
The current logo can be left empty; in which case, the skin logo will be applied.
This can also be edited later.
Note: if you upload a logo here, it will override the logo used inside the theme/skin (if any).
The favicon must be .ico (standard image file format for computer icons) and cannot exceed 16 x 16 pixels in size.
This can also be left empty; in which case the default favicon will be applied. The favicon can also be edited later.
SSL Certificate and SSL Key
Supported SSL certificate format: .crt.
Supported SSL private key format: .key.
Both can be left empty; in this case, the brand will have an auto-generated certificate. This will be a "self-signed" certificate, which means it is not signed by a known Certification Authority. With a self-signed certificate, the browser will show an alert when the user logs on.
Note: If you use a subdomain for your brand and your main domain is protected by a wildcard certificate (certificate, issued to *.example.com), then you can apply the same wildcard certificate to your brand.
The SSL certificate can be edited later (in the “Certificate” tab).

8) Complete the form based on the amount of customization you wish to accomplish then click the Finish button. The newly created brand will be listed on the ‘Brands’ page.
Note: If you get an error which says “No such resource: Branding access points,” it means that you can’t have any more brands.
After you created a brand, you will need to edit your domain’s DNS records for the brand to work properly.
