Getting Started with Google Admin Account
Once the G Suite subscription is provisioned, you will receive an email on your registered email address from Google Cloud Team, asking you to setup your Google Account for G Suite administrative access.
You will have to take 2 actions here:
- Create your password and sign in to the Admin console. Your admin console username will be sent with this email as well.
- Once logged-in, click on Verify Domain to proceed:
The following message will be displayed, click on Begin Verification to proceed:
Verification can be done by either of the following methods:
- Recommended Method (TXT record addition in domain’s DNS configuration)
- Alternate Method (using HTML tags)
If you are following the ‘Recommended’ method, choose your domain name provider from the list or choose ‘Other’ if your provider is not available in the list.
Then add the mentioned TXT Record to the DNS configuration for your domain (Refer to this article on how to do so)
Click on Verify to proceed.
