Through this document, you will see improvements that DIRECTLY or INDIRECTLY impact you.

  • A DIRECT impact is something that may be a change in how you perform some actions in the IM Cloud Marketplace, a change in policy, etc.
  • An INDIRECT impact is something where you may benefit from simply because the improvement makes the system work better.
  1.  Billing

1.1 Ability to Select a Payment Method for Automatic Top-Up of Balance

Upgrade (v7.3)

This new feature will affect reseller partners with 'Net Terms' payment method.

Previously, reseller partners were able to use only the default payment method for balance top-up. Now, reseller partners may provide a Credit Card that will be used automatically mid-month in cases where credit limit is exceeded and they want to continue provisioning.

Reseller Impact: DIRECT

1.2 Changes in Invoicing of Resellers on hold

Upgrade (v7.3)

Ingram Micro will bill reseller partners differently to prevent having 'large' invoices.

Previously, invoices generated on billing dates included only the charges for the current active subscriptions. Going forward, Ingram Micro will also invoice reseller partners that are (temporally) on hold. Invoices will be generated on a fixed schedule to avoid large invoices once reseller partners are released from hold.
