Can a reseller buy Office 365(-like) subscription for their own account?

No. Correct approach for a reseller that would like to buy a service for own use is to have "fake" end-customer account created.
(info) Existing subscriptions are to be migrated (cancelled, bought) under the end-customers.

Can a reseller buy a service in UX1 that allows them to resell, i.e. IDSync, Amazon for Resellers, Acronis Tiers?

Yes. UX1 supports these services. Those are marked with "Reseller only" tag and do not require an end-customer account during purchasing.

Can a reseller manage own subscriptions in UX1?

Not yet. Reseller cannot manage own subscriptions through UX1, this feature is planned to be delivered in upcoming UX1 Release (Platform 8.0).

What if Reseller wants to cancel subscription or upgrade / downgrade it in the meantime?

In such cases, Reseller has to contact support team.

Support team can manage Reseller's Subscription through Classic Panel with using Provider's permissions.

Note. Forgot password does not work, although avail.
3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. Support team should  request UX1 disabling for a specific account upon sending a request to Product team directly (Cloud-cmp-product@ingrammicro.com) to create an account and send credentials via email / ticket asking to change those credentials after the first login.

Note. How it works. #3, #4, #5, and #6 all require the customer to download software from a button that is embedded in the IDSync APS package and to copy unique credentials that appear in the Configuration page of the APS package.  #7 is tightly integrated in the APS package itself.  It still requires the customer to download software from a button that is embedded in the IDSync APS package and to copy credentials that appear in the Configuration page of the APS package but it also requires access to the IDSync APS Package for all of the user interface functionality of the product.

Can a reseller manage their Acronis service? What to do, if they cannot?

It used to be avail in "My Subscriptions" which is currently replaced by UX1. The connector vendor is currently working on an app update. Once complete, the scenarios are going to be avail in Classic Panel.

UX1 team is in touch with vendors to ensure that expected behavior is delivered asap. To get clarifications, status update, please reach out to Product team directly (Cloud-cmp-product@ingrammicro.com)
Affected scenario, which is presently not avail to resellers is "transitioning from Tier to Tier" (volume pricing). If a partner reports an issue of this kind, Support team is recommended to transition the partner from Tier to Tier via L1 interface.
If a partner needs an admin account to be created, IMC staff has access to do that manually for them in the meantime.
(info) Impact. according to Atlas, 60 partners worldwide can be potentially affected, if they decide to switch their plan.
(info) Impact. according to Acronis, partners that are subscribed solely to White Labeling do not actively use the feature.

Note. If there is a deal show stopper / strong business reason - UX1 can be disabled for a specific account upon sending a request to Product team directly (Cloud-cmp-product@ingrammicro.com) to create an account and send credentials via email / ticket asking to change those credentials after the first login.

Is it planned to have services management in UX1?
