Your files are stored securely on Dropmysite (DMS) servers. DMS uses military grade encryption to ensure your data is well protected and stored on their server.

DMS pays special attention to security for their application and their servers. They have an experienced team which uses the best engineering practice and tools to develop the product.

Your backups can only be accessed by your account. DMS employees are prohibited from viewing your account and backups. They follow the same method most online services - a small team of employees who can only access data for the reasons stated in the DMS privacy policy (e.g., when legally required to do so). DMS has a strict policy and access controls for employees that prohibit them from accessing the data except for these rare situations.

DMS uses AES 256 bit encryption and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Our files are stored on Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3). Amazon S3 itself has its own robust security policy of its own.
