Your Dropbox Team can be composed of Admins and Users. The admin roles are: ‘Team Admin’, ‘Support Admin’ and ‘User Management Admin’. Regular Users are assigned the role of ‘Member Only’. You can refer to this Dropbox article for more information on Admins’ related permissions.
This article provides detailed instructions on creating a Dropbox Team from the Customer Control Panel (CCP). Dropbox can be assigned to Users already existing in CCP or while creating a new User.
Team Admins
Team Admins are granted all permissions.
IMPORTANT!
![]() | The role of Team Administrator (Team Admin) is assigned, by default, to the individual whose information was provided at the time of purchasing the Dropbox subscription (this is usually the Customer) however if the Customer’s email ID is already associated with another Dropbox subscription, this automatic assignment will not occur.
If no Team Admin has been automatically assigned then you will need to perform the steps under ‘Assigning a Team Admin to a Dropbox Subscription (when the Customer is already ‘Team Admin’ for another Dropbox Subscription)’. Until this is done, there will be NO TEAM ADMIN for this Dropbox subscription and the subscription will not be activated.
