If VARs used their own username, password and email to purchase the Dropbox subscription they will be automatically identified as the Team Admin. You can opt for one of two ways to delete a VAR from your Dropbox account:

1) The first option is to use the ‘Change Team Administrator’ feature available on the Customer Control Panel (CCP) which allows you to create the new Team Admin user and then assign the role (refer to ‘How to: Re-Assign the Team Administrator Role (CCP)’).

Note: This is a one-time use feature and is available as long as the VAR has never accepted the email invite to become Team Admin.

Then delete the VAR from your Dropbox account (refer to ‘How to: Delete an Administrator from Your Dropbox Account’).

2) Appoint another user as Team Admin before removing the reseller as Team Admin (if appointing an existing team member refer to the article ‘How to: Assign Administrative Permissions to Team Members & Synchronize Info with CCP‘ or if creating a new user to act as team admin refer to ‘How to: Add a New Team Member’) and then assign the team admin role to the new team member (refer to ‘How to: Assign Administrative Permissions to Team Members & Synchronize Info with CCP‘).

Then delete the VAR from your Dropbox account (refer to ‘How to: Delete an Administrator from Your Dropbox Account’).
