IBM Connections Cloud – Starter Guide
IBM Connections Cloud enables users to access assigned products and their add-ons within the IBM Connections portal.
After purchasing your IBM Connections subscription from Ingram Micro’s CMP, the following steps will have to be completed, sequentially, before users can begin utilizing their assigned products.
The following table orders steps sequentially (‘Step No.’); what actions need to be taken (‘Action’); individual responsible for performing the action (‘Actor’) and the environment in which the action should be taken (this could be CCP; myCP or IBM Connections portal). Customer Control (CCP)
Emails should be transferred to IBM (applicable only for S1 Bundle and IBM Verse)
Assign licenses to users
Assign add-ons (required only if add-ons are included in the subscription)
Assign base product to users
Send the following information to the users:
i) URL for myCP
ii) myCP login credentials
iii) Instruct users on how to create password on myCP and
iv) Send instructions to the user on how to do first-time login to IBM Connections Portal
Create password to access IBM Connections Portal (detailed steps described within ‘Getting New Users Started on IBM Connections Portal’)
Logs in to IBM Connections Portal and begins using their assigned product (detailed steps described within ‘Getting New Users Started on IBM Connections Portal’)
