Overview

This document will provide you with necessary information about How to Create a Template for a Server in IMCO (Ingram Micro Cloud Orchestrator).

Templates describe the topology of a system you want to deploy repeatedly. A template defines a generic image (Operating System) and a software configuration. Software configuration is defined by a "Run list" of Chef Cookbooks recipes, configuration attributes for those recipes, user scripts and attachments. They enable you to quickly deploy multiple workloads with identical configurations and eliminates the complexity of creating application stacks.

Process

  1. Login to IMCO Portal

  1. In the left side menu navigate to BLUEPRINT > Templates.
