Microsoft Azure through CSP is a PAYG (pay-as-you-go) service that enables you to quickly build, deploy, and manage solutions across a global network of Microsoft-managed datacenters.

You may purchase an Azure subscription from the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace or the Customer Control Panel (NextCP)’s in-panel Marketplace.

Customers can have multiple Azure subscriptions. Every purchased subscription is listed as an option on the left-side menu or displayed in the Customer Control Panel (CCP) as a tile on the ‘Home’ page.

Each Azure subscription tile, on the ‘Home’ page, is identifiable by their unique subscription number and associated tenant domain or simply by a “friendly” name (Note: A “friendly” name is shown only if one has been created for the subscription, refer to ‘How to: Assign a “Friendly” Name to an Azure Subscription’ for detailed instructions).

The Azure page is divided into multiple tiles that offer consolidated information and their associated actions.

Reset Password: Reset a forgotten password (refer to ‘How to: Reset Password (Azure Portal)’)

Administration:

Displays:

1) Whether budget overuse notification is enabled or disabled

2) Azure subscription ID and associated tenant or “friendly” name - if created (refer to ‘How to: Assign a “Friendly” Name to an Azure Subscription’)

Manage:

  Allows you to:

  • Create a “friendly” name for the subscription
  • Setup budget overuse notification
  • Renew the Azure subscription
  • Disable/re-enable automatic renewal
  • Manually renew a subscription
  • Cancel the Azure subscription

Azure Prices:

1)      A description of the action that can be performed when you click on the VIEW PRICES action

2)      OPEN CALCULATOR opens the Azure price calculator

View Prices:

  • View resource prices so you can estimate expenses and plan a budget

Consumed Resource Amount:

1) Current cost based on resource consumption from last invoice date to current date.

View Usage Report:

  • View usage report for current billing period
  • Generate different usage reports

Infrastructure:

1) Description of the actions that can be performed when you click on the actions listed on this tile: ‘Deploy Resources’ and ‘Manage’

Deploy Resources: Use workload templates to quickly deploy resources in Azure.

Manage: Manage resources and resource groups by adding or modifying tags and synchronizing data between Azure Portal and CCP.
