• If you have enabled MFA on Cloud Marketplace (CMP) using the Microsoft Authenticator app, this article will assist you to reset a user’s MFA for a changed device.

You will require user credentials.


  • Resetting the CMP user password will reset the authenticator as well. Changing the password will enable them to re-enroll for MFA the next time they log in. 
  • Any Admin user in CMP can reset the password for users.
  • If a CMP admin is not available to assist, please contact or Modern Support team and one of our agents will assist you to reset the password. Please have your details available for the user account as we use them to verify the account.
