11 Filter AWS Costs from the RDE Report

Step 1: Create & Download the RDE Report
- Refer to the article: Reporting and Data Export (RDE) and follow the steps defined in the section: How to create a report.
- Once the report has been generated you can download to view it.

Step 2: Filter AWS Costs
- Once the report is downloaded, open it using Microsoft Excel.
- You have to create a Pivot Table for easily viewing AWS line items per customer. To create it:
- Select all of the data by typing "Ctrl + A".
- Next, click on "Insert", then "Pivot Table" and finally "OK"

- Once the Pivot Table is created, the next steps will be dependent on whether you pulled a Full Report or a Short Report.
- If you pulled a Full Report,
- Organize the Pivot Table fields as shown in the picture below:
- Then select only the AWS Accounts in the filter:

- If you pulled a Short Report,
- Organize the Pivot Table fields as shown in the picture below:

- Then select only the AWS Accounts in the filter:

- The Pivot Table is now filtered to shown only AWS accounts and ready to be deciphered!
