Overview

Ingram Micro supports Azure Government as a CSP Provider. Azure Government is specific to State, Local, and Federal agencies with datacenters separate from the Commercial datacenters; where no data co-mingles and is secure and protected by different compliance standards.

Important Note: GCC ≠Azure Government

Create a Subscription

Process A

  1. Microsoft must approve the End Customer as a qualified entity to use Azure Government resources. Customers must fill out the Microsoft Government General Validation form to initiate approval.
    • Microsoft typically takes 2-3 days to review and resolve the validation request. This validation must occur before proceeding with the creation of an Azure Government tenant and subscription. If Microsoft does not approve the request, Ingram Micro cannot proceed with this process.
  2. A relationship between this tenant and Ingram Micro must be established. The customer must create a Support Request via the Azure Government Portal.
  3. Once the relationship has been established and confirmed, please complete Azure Government Subscription Request and your designated IaaS Sales Representative will create the opportunity and process the request.
  4. Once processed, the Reseller POC receives an email confirmation providing the new Azure subscription from serviceorders@ingrammicro.com.

Process B

  1. Because the End Customer Government Tenant already exists, a relationship between this tenant and Ingram Micro must be established. The customer must create a Support Request via the Azure Government Portal.

        2. Once the relationship has been established and confirmed:

  • For Net New Subscription, your designated IaaS Sales Representative will create the opportunity and process the request, please complete Azure Government Subscription Request. Once it has been processed, the Reseller POC receives an email confirmation providing the new Azure subscription from: servicesorders@ingrammicro.com
  • For Existing Subscription Transfer - Fill out CSP Subscription Form and complete customer information, and sections 1 and 2 of the form.  Note: All signatures must be within 10 days of submission to Microsoft. The form will then need to be emailed to the Ingram Cloud Sales Representative requesting for completion of section 4 and signature. The Ingram Cloud Sales team will email signed form back to reseller point of contact.
  • Email CSP Subscription form to current CSP for completion of section 3 and signature. Request to the current CSP to initiate the transfer process with Microsoft once form is fully completed and signed.
  • Notify Ingram Micro Cloud Sales team once Microsoft has completed the transfer process along with the signed CSP transfer form and any relevant completion notifications. Ingram Micro Cloud Sales team will then notify the Reseller point of contact once transfer has been finalized from serviceorders@ingrammicro.com

Process C

  1. Once the relationship has been established and confirmed, please complete Azure Government Subscription Request and your designated IaaS Sales Representative will create the opportunity and process the request.
  2. Once processed, the Reseller POC receives an email confirmation providing the new Azure Subscription from servicesorders@ingrammicro.com.
